Why Choose Us for Your Elopement Wedding in NYC

One Wedding House brings the key parts of an NYC elopement into one coordinated experience, so couples don't have to figure out the city, the logistics, and multiple vendors on their own.

We combine local NYC knowledge with planning and visual storytelling, helping couples understand what needs to happen, what actually works, and how all the pieces of the day fit together.

The result is a wedding that feels personal and thoughtfully planned, with less uncertainty and fewer details for you to manage.

At One Wedding House, we specialize in planning and producing elopements, micro weddings, and City Hall celebrations across New York City. After more than 20 years of living and working here, we have built a close local team of trusted professionals who know how to create a wedding day that feels personal, polished, and easy.

Honesty and transparency are central to our work. We use clear, fixed package pricing and explain what is included before you book, so you can make decisions with confidence. The exact level of planning and coordination always depends on the package and services selected in your agreement.

Our experience and local network allow us to offer thoughtful, flexible support shaped around your vision for New York.

Couples often come to us with a vision, but not necessarily a complete plan. Some are organizing their wedding from another country and have never visited New York before. Others know the feeling they want, but are unsure about the location, timing, vendors, or how everything will come together on the day.

Our role is to turn those separate questions into one thoughtful, connected experience.

We begin by listening. We want to understand what matters to you, what makes you nervous, how you want the day to feel, and which moments you most want to remember. From there, we help shape a plan that is realistic for New York and appropriate for the package and services you have selected.

That distinction matters to us. We never want a couple to assume that every level of planning or every service is included in every package. Our support follows the scope of your agreement, and we explain those boundaries clearly before you book. Depending on your package, this may include photography, videography, an officiant, beauty services, florals, transportation, location guidance, vendor coordination, or more comprehensive planning.

A beautiful location is only one part of the decision. We also consider light, travel time, privacy, permits, crowds, weather, building access, and the natural rhythm of the day.

Our experience in New York helps us anticipate details that may not be obvious when you are planning from a distance. We can recommend what works beautifully in photographs, but we also think about what will feel comfortable and manageable in real life.

When weather or circumstances change, we do not want the couple to carry that pressure alone. We look for practical solutions and help the day continue to feel intentional.

Many of the couples who contact us tell us they feel awkward in front of a camera. They worry about posing, looking unnatural, or not knowing what to do.

We understand that concern. Our photographers offer clear, gentle direction while leaving room for movement, personality, and real emotion. The goal is not to force you into someone else’s idea of a wedding photograph. It is to help you feel comfortable enough that the photographs can still look like you only elevated, beautifully observed, and unmistakably New York City.

One of the most exhausting parts of wedding planning can be finding several separate professionals and then trying to make sure they communicate with one another.

One Wedding House was created to make that process more connected. When services are included in your selected package, we bring together trusted professionals who understand our standards and know how to work collaboratively.

This may mean coordinating the ceremony, photography, video, hair and makeup, florals, music, transportation, or other services listed in your agreement. Instead of leaving you to manage every conversation on the wedding day, we help the chosen pieces work together as one experience.

We believe professionalism is not only about producing beautiful work. It is also about being responsive, organized, prepared, and reassuring when a couple needs help.

Our couples often remember how the day felt: that they were able to relax, that communication was clear, that someone was paying attention, and that they did not have to solve every problem themselves.

That sense of calm is not accidental. It comes from preparation, experience, honest communication, and a team that genuinely cares about the people in front of us.

The result should be more than a well-organized wedding or a beautiful gallery. It should be a day that feels personal, effortless, and fully lived—a day in New York that belongs to you.

All-Inclusive NYC Elopement Packages

Our elopement packages are designed to make a wedding day in New York feel clear, connected, and memorable. The exact services depend on the package you select, so you can choose the level of support that fits your plans. We keep the scope transparent: venue costs and independently hired vendors are not automatically included. Our team coordinates the services named in your agreement, so you know exactly what to expect from the beginning.

  • A licensed officiant for a warm, legally recognized ceremony.
  • Professional photography coverage, with the duration based on your selected package.
  • Coordination for the specialists included in your package.
  • Optional beauty services, florals, transportation, video, and planning support as listed in the package details.
  • Venue research and site visits tailored to your guest count, preferences, and budget.
  • Coordination with trusted vendors and suppliers.
  • Design and concept development.
  • Stationery, rentals, entertainment, and guest accommodation research.
  • A detailed timeline, wedding-day management, and multi-day event planning.

Perfect Locations For Your NYC Elopement

Choosing the right setting is one of the most important parts of planning an NYC elopement. You might imagine vows in Central Park, a Manhattan rooftop with skyline views, an elegant interior, or a quiet garden hidden within the city.

We recommend locations that photograph beautifully and also work with your timeline, guest count, privacy needs, transportation, and budget.

Depending on the package you choose, our support may include location scouting and guidance with the legal marriage process. The exact services always follow your package and agreement.

Our goal is to help you choose a place that feels right in photographs and works smoothly in real life.

Experience and Excellence in NYC Elopements

Every part of our process has been refined through years of planning weddings and elopements across New York City.

That experience matters here. NYC weddings involve more than choosing a beautiful background: permits, travel time, changing light, weather, crowds, building access, and vendor timing can all affect the day. We look at the full picture and shape the plan around your priorities.

When you work with One Wedding House, you are partnering with professionals who listen carefully, anticipate practical details, and understand how to let the city become part of the experience. Our goal is a celebration that feels calm, personal, and genuinely yours.

Ready to Plan Your Perfect Elopement?

1. Tell us about your day.
Share your date, guest count, priorities, and the atmosphere you want to create.

2. Choose the right level of support.
We explain which package fits your plans, what is included, and which services or outside costs should be considered separately.

3. Make it official.
We prepare a contract specifically for your celebration. Once it is signed and the 30% deposit is received, our team begins the work included in your selected package.

1. What may be included in your package
Depending on your selection, support may include an officiant, photography, videography, vendor coordination, hair and makeup, a bridal bouquet, transportation during the shoot, timeline creation, location scouting, paperwork assistance, or more comprehensive planning.

2. What is separate unless specifically included
Venue and restaurant costs are paid separately. Musicians, vintage or exotic cars, floral installations and arches, chairs, décor, rentals, permits, and specialists outside your selected package are also separate unless specifically included in your agreement.

3. How vendor coordination works
Vendor coordination applies to the professionals included in your package. Any additional specialists or services outside the package must be discussed separately.

How do we book One Wedding House?

We prepare a contract specifically for your celebration. You sign the agreement, pay the required deposit, and we begin the work included in your selected package.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit equal to 30% of the selected package price is required to reserve your date. All payment, cancellation, and refund terms are stated clearly in your contract before you sign.

How far in advance should we book?

We have occasionally assembled a wedding in less than two weeks, but we do not recommend leaving the decision until the last moment. More time gives you space to consider what you truly want and allows us to secure the strongest team for your date. We intentionally limit the number of weddings we accept so that every celebration receives fresh creative energy and genuine attention.

April through October is our busiest season, and excellent wedding professionals may be booked a year in advance. If your date falls within those months, contact us as soon as it is confirmed.

Can we move our wedding date?

A date change may be possible for an additional fee and is always subject to the availability of our team and the professionals reserved for your celebration. When we accept your booking, we close that date and may decline other couples who inquire about it.

The rescheduling fee helps account for that reserved time and the additional work required to reorganize the celebration. The exact terms are confirmed in your contract and discussed with you before any change is made.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Our planner and photographer monitor the forecast closely—often more often than the couple does. As New York professionals and locals, we can suggest several practical alternatives for strong wind, extreme cold, or heavy rain.

Options may include adjusting the timeline, changing locations, or using a suitable indoor plan. The final solution is discussed individually and shaped around your priorities, package, and the conditions on the day.

Which services depend on the package we choose?

Hair and makeup, floral design and the bridal bouquet, transportation, planning, venue or restaurant research, location scouting, permits, videography, and vendor coordination vary by package. The package page and your contract identify exactly what is included.

Venue and restaurant fees, musicians, specialty vehicles, floral arches or installations, chairs, decor, rentals, and independently hired vendors are additional unless your agreement specifically says otherwise.
