GooD start: HOW TO GET MARRIED IN NYC RIGHT NOW (#Projectcupid)

1. Apply for a marriage license via Project Cupid.

This can be only be done online if both of you are physically in NY.

 

2. Schedule an online appointment with a city clerk 

 

3. Get the marriage license from the city clerk (print it) at your appointment

 

*24 hours have passed since you received the license*

 

You can now be officially married!

 

4. Bring your marriage license (and a witness, someone over the age of 21 y.o. with ID to your ceremony)

 

The ceremony takes place and you two are married! Wooohooo!

 

5. A few minutes after the ceremony our licensed officiant will fill out the marriage license and return it to you

 

6. You will upload it back to your Project Cupid application 

 

7. You will receive the marriage certificate from the city clerk via Project Cupid shortly after
