There’s something effortlessly romantic about intimate New York weddings, and Caitlin & Michael’s day captured it all. We started at the iconic Hotel Chelsea, where the couple was getting ready. Caitlin was finishing her bridal look — calm and radiant — while Michael got dressed nearby. The warm morning sun poured into their room, setting the tone for what was to be a bright, joyful day.
Before heading out, we took advantage of the hotel’s gorgeous interiors and stepped onto the balcony for some stylish NYC wedding portraits. The city views were crystal clear, and the light was perfect — a dream for any wedding photographer in New York. They toasted the day with champagne, full of laughter and anticipation.
We then made our way downtown to City Hall, where friends were already waiting. Their ceremony was heartfelt, fun, and full of real emotion — the kind that reminds you why documenting these moments matters. Outside, they were greeted with a burst of colorful confetti and cheers, officially kicking off their journey together.
With the sun high above Manhattan, we wandered the nearby streets, stopping in beautiful brownstone corners and light-filled alleyways for more portraits. The weather added such a vibrant energy to every photo — classic New York at its finest.
Later that evening, we returned to The Tea Room at Hotel Chelsea for an intimate reception with close friends and family. The vibe was warm and joyful, filled with kind words, big laughs, and emotional toasts. It was the kind of wedding you remember — not just for the way it looked, but for how it felt. So happy we got to capture it all for Caitlin & Michael.
