Mary and Taylor chose to celebrate their elopement in the heart of Manhattan, surrounded by the timeless beauty of Central Park. Instead of filling the day with multiple locations, they wanted to slow down, enjoy the city together, and experience one of New York's most iconic places at their own pace.
We planned their timeline around the park, allowing plenty of time to walk, explore, and create photographs that felt natural rather than rushed. One of the reasons Central Park remains one of our favorite elopement locations is that every short walk reveals a completely different atmosphere. Within just a few minutes, you can move from grand architectural landmarks to quiet pathways that feel surprisingly private despite being in the middle of Manhattan.
Their portraits began around Bethesda Terrace before continuing to Bow Bridge, two of the park's most recognizable locations. While these landmarks are well known, thoughtful planning makes it possible to photograph them in a way that feels intimate and personal instead of crowded.
Choosing a ceremony location inside Central Park is about more than finding a beautiful view. We always look for spaces that complement each couple's timeline, the season, and the atmosphere they want to create. For Mary and Taylor, we selected a quiet corner surrounded by lush greenery, giving them a private ceremony while still being only a short walk from some of the park's most iconic scenery. After exchanging vows, they celebrated with a bottle of champagne at The Loeb Boathouse, a tradition we always love to see after an intimate ceremony. Taking time to pause, enjoy the moment, and celebrate together often becomes just as meaningful as the ceremony itself.

As the evening came to an end, Mary and Taylor returned to The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York, one of New York's most iconic luxury hotels. Its location overlooking Central Park made it the perfect place to begin and end their celebration while keeping the entire day effortless and beautifully connected.
