Just a day after their rainy and romantic Central Park engagement session, we met up with Kelsey & Kirk again—this time for their wedding day! The sun was out, the skies were clear, and the city felt alive. The two of them looked absolutely stunning—Kelsey in her sleek white gown, and Kirk in a sharp tailored suit.
We started our NYC wedding photoshoot in Brooklyn Heights, walking through quiet streets lined with brownstones and lush summer greenery. It felt like a little secret garden tucked away in the heart of New York. Every corner gave us beautiful light and textures, and these two? Total naturals in front of the camera.
From there, we made our way toward the promenade where the view of Manhattan is just… chef’s kiss. We took our time capturing candid moments, soft glances, real laughter. And then came the ceremony—set right in DUMBO, near the iconic bridge. The spot couldn’t have been more perfect: that classic New York wedding backdrop with cobblestone streets and skyline views.
Their elopement ceremony was small, intimate, and emotional—surrounded by a few close friends and family. They exchanged rings and vows as the sun started dipping lower, giving us the golden light every wedding photographer in NYC dreams of.
After a few quick group portraits (and lots of hugs), Kelsey and Kirk hopped into a limo and drove off into the Brooklyn sunset. It was the kind of day that reminds us why we love what we do. Shooting a wedding in New York is always special—but with couples like these two? It’s unforgettable.
